Abstract/Summary:


This work reports on the classification of the APOLLO large-area steady-state solar simulator at the European Solar Test Installation and a wide range of measurement procedures implemented for the characterisation of electrical performance of PV devices. The simulator is class AAA and allows measurement of electrical performance over a wide range of irradiance and device temperature (e.g. power matrix). Furthermore, bi-facial PV devices as well as emerging PV technologies can be measured and last not least linearity.
