In this paper results regarding optical, structural and morphological properties of CsPbBr3 thin films deposited using three different vacuum based routes are compared. The films were prepared by co-evaporation, sequential deposition and evaporation of single crystal powder of CsPbBr3 grown using the antisolvent vapor-assisted crystallization (AVC) method; in all three cases, we use CsBr ( ≥99.5%) and PbBr2 ( ≥99.5%) as precursors materials. The lattice strain and crystallite size D of the CsPbBr3 films were estimated through X-ray diffraction (XRD) measurements using Williamson–Hall-isotropic strain model and the Williamson–Hall plot methods respectively. Further, information regarding the influence of grow route on the morphology and formation of structural defects was achieved through scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Urbach energy measurements.
