Abstract/Summary:


A novel photoelectrode using vertical well-aligned ZnO nanorods was developed for improving the efficiency of dye-sensitized solar cell. A novel reducing annealing method was applied to obtain the vertical wellaligned ZnO nanorods from as-deposited ZnO film. The structural and optical properties of ZnO nanorods were characterized. The feasibility of vertical well-aligned ZnO nanorods as photoanode in DSSC was investigated. The efficiency of demonstrated ZnO-based DSSC was 2.89% with a fill factor 0.563.
