Abstract/Summary:

Dynamic agrivoltaics is a production system combining, over one surface, a crop and photovoltaic solar panels, positioned above the crop and controlled according to the physiological needs of the plants. A dedicated structure was designed, and specific software was developed to simulate the whole system in order to derive the best control policies. After the test and the evaluation of the concept through two experimental plants, the first large-scale dynamic agrivoltaic system was built in the south of France.
