Abstract/Summary:


BIPV module needs to meet building performance requirements as a part of fa├žade in order to penetrate into the construction market. Curtain wall system as a facade has many building performance requirements. e.g. wind load, seismic load, water proofing, U value, G value, fire resistant , durability and so on. The main concern regarding BIPV is the occurrence of fire due to electrical error among the various required performance. Since occur to fire by electrically error is also specific issue of BIPV. Thus, these study focuses on fire property of BIPV apply to the facade.
