Abstract/Summary:


The increased use of renewable energy could reduce the burning of fossil fuels (coal, petroleum, and natural gas), eliminating associated air-pollution and green house gases emissions, and contributing to national energy independence and economic and political security. The application of the photovoltaic (PV) wind fuel cell (FC) energies resources will supply the energy requirements for the remote area, and will help for the sustainable development of the rural areas such as the Sahara desert in Egypt. In this paper such system will be studied, modeled and simulated. The simulation results indicate that the system can be modular size according to the available investments.
