Abstract/Summary:


In this paper a project is presented which aims to satisfy more than the 85% of the energy needs of a remote area / high altitude off-grid village, by mean of Renewable Energy Sources generation. As fundamental element of the project, research activities in coordination between the partners of the projects and several research entities will take place after the completion of system, being focused in monitoring the performance of RES generation devices and of the Energy Storage System in an harsh environment.
