Abstract/Summary:


For efficient monolithic interconnection of large scale organic solar modules the application of lasers offers several advantages. Similar to inorganic materials different patterning steps called P1, P2 and P3 are necessary for achieving full interconnection. Within this study P2 laser scribing of a multilayer is performed to contact the electrodes of an inverted organic solar cell. The ablation threshold of P3HT:PCBM is calculated and experiments for single-pass and multi-pass scribing process were carried out. The results demonstrate the potential of multi-pass scribing for structuring purposes of organic solar cells.
