Abstract/Summary:


Printed organic photovoltaics promise lightweight and flexible light harvesting devices for conformable integration into buildings, portable electronics or vehicles. Besides the challenges in material synthesis and engineering of the printing processes, the optical design of these thin film layer devices is inevitable to achieve high power conversion efficiencies.[1] For that purpose, we developed cost effective light management (LM) films for printed thin film photovoltaics, which enhance the light absorption and which can be adapted and optimized for various devices and applications.
