The main objective of this study is to provide an overview of the operational performance of a PV-Hybrid grid and two PV grid connected systems installed in three different countries for didactical purposes. It is possible for students to compare different systems (e.g. various solar module technologies, inverters, undersized/oversized, power of the system) in several regions. The didactical concept of this monitoring project lies on the possibility to display data in real time for different locations with different geographic characteristics. This generates some new tasks for students e.g. comparison of performance ratios, impact of the temperature on the power output, evaluation of the efficiency of the panels, considering the technologies installed, inverters efficiency.
