Abstract/Summary:


Solar energy is one of the most currently important trends in producing green and cheap electrical energy. Oxide p-type semiconductors such as CuO, Cu2O, have great potential as an active layer of the solar cell due to the fact that these materials are of low cost, are widely spread in the world, they have a bandgap in the range of 1.21 to 2,1 eV, and relatively high coefficient of solar spectrum absorption [1]. Theoretical efficiency of solar energy conversion into electrical energy for Cu2O is 9- 12%. The features of the establishment and functioning of heterostructures on the basis of copper and zinc oxides have been studied in the following works [2-5]. However, nowadays structures, which have been received, don’t have sufficient efficacy and they require optimization.
