Abstract/Summary:


Generally, our solar monitoring system consists of web monitoring server, data collection server, data collection client, heterogeneous inverters, and junction boxes. In this system, each device uses different protocol and interface with different data processing algorithms, which have some problems for communication between different equipment. To prevent this problem, we should require to test it with many test cases. But we have a limited time to release it, that is, difficult to execute all tests. To solve these problems, we propose prioritization of test execution with Musa’s operational profile mechanism for software reliability of the solar energy monitoring system. This method identifies elements of the system through incremental steps, which generates operational profile using identified elements. Then we calculate execution probability of operation through quantitative measurement. As a result, we can prioritize quantitative tests, which can perform intensive testing against critical and fatal things.
