Abstract/Summary:


For more than 10 years large solar power plants have generated sustainable, ecological energy. The optimal yield of “industrial” solar plants is today much more the concern and economic focus of both owners and operators, respectively. To compare current installations, the operational data of several solar power plants in Germany and the Czech Republic were technically analysed and investigated by using industry professional simulation software. A further objective of the report was to examine, whether simulation with measured weather data could be a reliable means to identify problems in the operation of solar power plants. The findings are based solely on data measurement of the plant yield and the actual irradiation and temperature conditions prevalent to both verify and give a meaningful comparison of the simulation results. Some interesting results were achieved. DiSUN Deutsche Solarservice GmbH is an independent service provider and manages the operation of approximately 205 MWp solar power plants in Germany, Czech Republic and Italy.
