Abstract/Summary:


In this work the application of vacuum-free and roll-to-roll compatible Langmuir-Blodgett processing is proposed for deposition of anti-scratch and oleofobic protective coatings coatings for providing long-term clearness of solar modules surface as well as for fabrication of stable photonic nanostructures for efficient light scattering, down- and upconversion. Special in-line coater was constructed for continuous modification of solar cells and cover glasses or foils. Our technology is also suitable for application on large-scale photovoltaic devices. The very wide commercial potential of proposed technology will also give the industry direct tool for efficient, ecology friendly and high quality fabrication of complex protective, photonic and nanoelectronic structures on different kinds of rigid and flexible solar cells.
