Abstract/Summary:


In recent years there has been a considerable growth of PV grid connected systems (PVGCS) in the world, motivated by a suitable legal framework and a generous production subsidies. The future power production of the plant is the best guarantee for the owner to deal with made credits. This work tries to reduce the discrepancies between the power actually injected into the grid and the power estimated thanks to used wireless dataloggers distributed along the PV plant, taken measurements of the representative parameters simultaneously. In recent audits, IDEA group at University of Jaén has witnessed a growing increase in power and size of these facilities, prompting serious limitations because of the scarcity of nearby grid points where dataloggers and sensors could be connected. So, the research group has worked on wireless and autonomous measurements systems, independent of power grid. The aim of this paper is twofold. First, to carry out a preliminary study of the existing acquisition wireless systems; second, to bring into operation these equipments showing the lessons learnt.
