Abstract/Summary:


In view of super large-area thin film photovoltaic fabrication, laser scribing process is considered as one of the most challenging tasks. Most previous papers on large-area laser scribing process were up to 1.5 m2. In this report, laser scribing process on the size of 5.72m2 (Gen 8.5) photovoltaic modules will be presented. Key process parameters including the film type and materials, laser optics, and equipment attributes will be revealed in this presentation.
