Abstract/Summary:


This work analyzes the current situation in the Spanish photovoltaic market in terms of profitability of investments for different system configurations: small plants (< 10 kW, typical in residential installations), large plants (some MW) and other systems (commercial, industrial, etc). In all the cases, the calculations assume the PV plants are grid-connected under free market conditions, with no incentives. Parameters such as return on investment and payback period have been calculated with the data collected from several sources. A software tool has been used in order to calculate the aforementioned figures. It can carry out sensitivity analysis, making it possible to study the influence of
