Abstract/Summary:


The paper is focused on state-of the-art methods for local PV yield estimation in middle and very short time horizon. Both numerical weather prediction as well as statistical approaches are discussed and the accuracy for a chosen place is compared. The developed approach for data acquisition of irradiance sensors is discussed together with the method of image processing. In the end general statements are made based on accuracy and suitability of each prediction method.
