In photovoltaic (PV) irrigation applications, models that allow estimating the output of a single variable speed driven (VSD) pump connected to a PV generator are available, such as the SISIFO software (www.sisifo.info). In real systems, it is common to connect several pumps in parallel to the same generator instead of a single pump. In this work, a model is generated that allows estimating the pumped water volume in a system that, sharing the same PV generator, is formed by a group of frequency-synchronized VSD pumps connected in parallel, to which a second group of frequency-synchronised VSD pumps can be optionally added. This model makes it possible to establish the number of active pumps in each group and their working frequency, depending on the PV power available, optimising some criteria. In this version, the criterion is to achieve the highest pumping volume during the irrigation period considered. This version is now freely available in the online application SISIFO.
