Abstract/Summary:

A global electrical grid can support 100% renewable electricity generation, that could be used at distant places at any time. We started simulating the Global Solar Link in stochastic fashion, showing that daily and seasonal storage/backup can be reduced in favour of a grid connection. That is exciting, and a paradigm change in the energy world, showing the way forward in the climate crisis.
